Mission Statement
Xritica is a queer and trans of color-led boutique advocacy firm providing survivor accompaniment, legal interface, and narrative care through a transdisciplinary approach to crisis and care. Offering strategic, trauma-informed tools that protect autonomy, restore dignity, and support survival amid institutional betrayal, reputational harm, and discursive violence.
Dr. Xiomara Cervantes-Gómez, PhD
Founder & Principal
Dr. Cervantes-Gómez is a transdisciplinary scholar, advocate, and strategist whose work spans queer and trans of color critique, crisis response, and survivor-led transformation. After navigating multiple Title IX, EEOC, and internal university investigations without adequate legal or institutional support, she built Xritica to offer what she couldn’t find: a trauma-informed, narrative-savvy, and power-conscious support system for those facing reputational, institutional, or systemic harm. With a background in academia, organizing, and forensic social work, she brings lived expertise and professional strategy to every case—bridging the gap between care and consequence.
Xritica operates across of three foundational areas guided by a transdisciplinary approach to survivor-centered work. Each represents a distinct cluster of expertise while remaining interconnected in service of client dignity, autonomy, and strategic precision.

Every Service, Every Tier
Each tier is built on the belief that you deserve high-caliber, designer-level strategy. Xritica’s model scales time, scope, and touchpoints so no one misses out on depth, rigor, or creativity. The five Core Service Suites are designed to meet you where you are, adapting their pace and reach while holding the same survivor-centered precision at every level.
This approach is intentional. Instead of creating a hierarchy of quality, Xritica designs each engagement to fit the realities of the client’s capacity—whether that’s a concentrated session to stabilize an urgent situation, a mid-range container for ongoing strategy, or a high-touch retainer for complex, evolving needs. The work is always customized, always relational, and always grounded in trauma-informed intelligence.
By pairing the tiers with the Core Service Suites, we create a flexible but consistent framework: your suite defines the type of work we’ll do together, your tier shapes the rhythm and breadth of that work. This keeps our services accessible to those navigating systemic harm, while ensuring that well-resourced clients and institutions directly sustain a wider ecosystem of care. What follows is a glimpse of how each service suite adapts across the tiers—without ever compromising the craft, discretion, or impact at the heart of Xritica.

Xritica is committed to building sustainable meaning-making practices for trans, queer, and racialized survivors navigating systemic violence. Through relational and discursive infrastructures, Xritica supports the continuous creation of strategies for resistance, authorship, and survival—so that those most targeted by institutional abandonment will be able shape how they are known, remembered, and protected.
Vision Statement
Transdisciplinary approach to care
Xritica advocates for survivor accompaniment, legal interface, and narrative care at the interstices of institutional critique, abolitionist praxis, and reputation recovery.
The firm specializes in accompanying survivors through complex processes of institutional harm by building testimonial infrastructure that centers dignity, autonomy, and strategic refusal.
-
Xritica blends forensic social work, narrative therapy, queer of color critique, trans of color theory, legal discourse, and continental philosophy. Rather than imitate law firms or clinics, Xritica operates in the liminal spaces between them—translating across systems while staying accountable to liberatory ethics. This transdisciplinary foundation shapes bespoke strategies for each client, situating Xritica as a boutique firm with theoretical depth and adaptive range.
-
Xritica doesn't just center survivors—it’s built by and for them. Services evolve around client-defined goals, emotional pacing, and narrative terms. Every offering is co-created with those most impacted, ensuring that strategy is never extractive, performative, or one-size-fits-all. Our boutique model guarantees that no two clients are treated the same.
-
Xritica is intentionally positioned outside the carceral constraints of licensure. Not a law office. Not a clinic. This liberates the practice to operate fluidly—combining coaching, care, research, and strategic accompaniment in ways that state-regulated professions cannot. Our bespoke engagements reflect deep accountability without bureaucratic limitation.es here
-
Xritica builds discursive tools—not just soundbites or crisis responses. Through scripting, document co-authorship, reputation management, and communication ethics, clients receive custom-built infrastructure to protect, deploy, and reclaim their stories with precision and power. Each deliverable is crafted to meet high-stakes moments with clarity, nuance, and impact.
-
Confidentiality here is not a boilerplate—it’s a relational agreement. Xritica practices opacity not as avoidance, but as protection. Clients retain full control over what is shared, archived, anonymized, or withheld. Privacy is political—and custom-crafted for each case, making discretion a bespoke care practice.
